Replete with recipes for national favorites such as green mealie omelette, crystallized limes, pumpkin dumplings, moss bolletjies, boer biscuits, loquat pie, Boer milk tart, General Louis Botha cake, soet koekies, curried river fish, General Smuts tea cakes, curried snoek, pickled biltong, etc. Also with notes such as, "Snoek is a godsend to people living on farms or too far away from places where fresh fish is procurable." A few spots to front cover, else very good.
